Ryan Hise was born in Dallas and grew up in Garland, Texas. After graduating from Texas Tech University in 1999 with a degree in Marketing, Ryan entered the foundation repair and homebuilding industries through his family’s business—gaining first-hand experience in the North Texas soil conditions that cause most foundation problems.

In 2006, Ryan founded Stratum Foundation Repair in McKinney with a single truck and one goal: give homeowners honest answers about their foundations. Since then, he has personally performed over 10,000 foundation inspections, developed three proprietary pier systems (ST1, ST3, and ST10), and grown Stratum to seven offices across Dallas-Fort Worth. Ryan also holds a Texas real estate license, giving him a unique perspective on how foundation issues affect home values.
